Overview
Located in the southwest corner of Preston and Brookhollow in Frisco, Texas, the Atherton stands as a remarkable 24-acre project featuring 12 distinct garden-style multi-family buildings.
BGE skillfully navigated a myriad of challenges and crafted creative solutions to integrate into a seamless, cohesive site plan. The complexity of the project unfolded with the need to address large walls, integrate a hike and bike trail, design a detention pond, construct a bridge, navigate varying topography, and ensure a seamless layout for numerous buildings. BGE’s problem-solving prowess shone through as these elements were artfully orchestrated into a unified vision, showcasing BGE’s ability to balance functionality and aesthetics.
The Atherton has a significant impact on the community it inhabits. By supporting multi-family housing users, it not only meets a crucial housing need but also contributes to the growth and vitality of the larger community. This development goes beyond its physical footprint; it becomes an integral part of the evolving landscape, embodying the essence of thoughtful urban planning and community development.
