BGE, Inc. has announced that Mike Wobken, PE, PTOE, has joined the company as a Senior Traffic Engineer based in the firm’s Dallas, Texas, office. With an impressive 27 years of experience in traffic engineering, Mike brings a wealth of expertise in traffic operations, signal timing, traffic impact studies, traffic simulation, and traffic analysis in Texas and across the country.

Throughout his extensive career, Mike has held pivotal roles in both the public and private sectors, managing nationwide teams of traffic engineers and technicians. With a unique combination of field experience and technical knowledge of transportation software, Mike has been instrumental in helping numerous cities in Texas, including Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Plano, implement innovative traffic solutions.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. In addition to his technical skills, Mike is recognized for his leadership and mentoring abilities. He has trained and mentored staff for over a decade, sharing his vast knowledge and practical insights gained from field experience.
