BGE Expands North Texas Private Practice with Key Hire

BGE, Inc. announced today the expansion of its north Texas private practice with the addition of land development industry leader Matt Robinson, PE.

“North Texas is a growing, vibrant region, and we’re proud to have played a part in that growth since 2005. Last year, we provided consulting services for the development of 10 percent of the single-family lots in the Dallas-Fort Worth market,” said Doug Dillon, BGE, Inc. Board Member and Executive Vice President. “With Matt as part of our team, we’ll be focusing on growing our private practice, achieving an even greater positive impact on the growth of our region.”

BGE entered the north Texas market in 2005. The region has grown to employ more than 150 professionals in locations across north Texas which include Dallas, Fort Worth and Frisco, offering civil engineering, surveying, planning, landscape architecture, construction management and environmental services for public and private clients.

Robinson, along with industry leader Jaime Beard and other members of the BGE private practice group, will focus on growing the community development practice including feasibility analysis, entitlements, development design and construction services for residential, commercial and industrial properties.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to be part of BGE’s continued growth in the north Texas region,” Robinson said.

Robinson has 23 years of combined experience in engineering, planning and entitlements, project management, construction management, and land acquisition and disposition. He will join the team as a Practice Leader – Land Development.

Robinson earned his bachelor’s from Texas Tech University and currently serves as president of the Dallas Builders Association and is a member of several chambers. Before joining BGE, he was general manager of Walton Global Holdings. He also worked for Pulte Homes and the Greater Texas Land Resources.
