Chris Patterson, AICP, recently joined BGE’s Houston Land Planning group as Planning and Landscape Director. He brings over 20 years of experience in planning and landscape architecture and has worked on a wide variety of projects, including master planned communities, infill development, and park and open space design.
Chris earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Texas A&M University. He has a certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners.
Patterson is chairman of the West Houston Association Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Committee, and is a member of the American Planning Association and Greater Houston Builders Association.
